WattTime seeks to provide greater transparency and public visibility of the amount of pollution created by power plants. The project combines satellite imagery data from multiple providers to monitor power plant emissions around the world. The information is made openly accessible to the public to help improve monitoring, government decision-making, and public scrutiny of global polluters.
