Stanford’s Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) Shared Datasets aims to democratize research on imaging technology and the application of artificial intelligence through a free repository of AI-ready annotated medical imaging datasets. AIMI’s partnerships enabled the acquisition of more than 1 million images in two years and researchers can download these datasets to train AI models and use them for educational purposes.
