The "Stakeholders" of this project, which include banks, banking associations and regulators, will be encouraged by The Global Banking Alliance for Women, an international consortium of financial institutions interested in building women’s wealth worldwide, to collect and report sex-disaggregated data. In the initial phase of this project, these stakeholders will discuss what particular data should be collected.
Since this project is in its initial phases, no data has been shared yet. However, this multi-stakeholder approach aims to be "bank-driven" and works in collaboration to encourage the publication of sex-disaggregated banking data.
The project aims to address women's access to financial services by collecting more data about women's banking activities.
